Teaching Practice
The practice has been approved as a teaching practice and will, on occasions, have GP registrars working from the premises. The registrars will be fully qualified doctors who are gaining experience of General Practice.
Aston University Medical Students
The practice has also been approved to provide training and supervision to Aston University Medical Students. During their time at the University, they are given placements in GP practice and also hospitals to gain further understanding of working in Primary and Secondary Care.
Practice Nurses
Mrs Tania Fish (f) - RN DipHE in Adult Nursing
The practice nurse is available, by appointment, to undertake a full range of nursing services, including chronic disease management, cervical smears, vaccinations etc.
Wendy Watson-Teague (f) (ANP) - RN, Masters in Health Sciences - Advanced Practice Nurse (ANP)
Wendy see's same day acute patients as part of the new Triage appointment system, where a GP has assessed the triage and an appointment will be arranged if needed.
Pharmacist
Helen Adams (f) - Bsc (Hons) 2.1 Pharmacy Leicester Polytechnic
Helen supports the clinical staff by looking into Medicine Management. She deals with patient medication queries and alterations from hospital letters/discharge note. She and also make changes if medicines become out of stock or discontinued.
Health Care Assistant (HCA)

She is available for blood tests, ECGs, blood pressure checks, diabetic foot checks, B12/flu vaccinations etc.
