Routine appointments
If you wish to make an appointment to see a Doctor, Nurse or our Healthcare Assistant, either please telephone us on 01902 731907 or visit the Surgery, during the Surgery opening times as detailed. You can also contact us through our Online Consultation service.
Any registered patient under the age of 16 years must be accompanied by a parent / carer.
If you require telephone advice from a Doctor or a Nurse regarding a medical matter, please contact the Surgery during the morning please.
Consultations with the Doctor of your choice are by appointment only. Chaperone - all patients are entitled to have a chaperone present for any consultation, examination or procedure where they feel one is required. Please ask a member of staff about this and they will be delighted to assist you.
Urgent appointments
If you feel you need to be seen urgently, please tell the Receptionist, who will arrange for you to be seen as soon as possible, though not necessarily with the Doctor of your choice. Our Receptionists are under instruction to obtain sufficient information as to whether an urgent appointment is necessary. Please be prepared to give the Receptionist all the information that you may be asked for.
Cancelling or changing an appointment
If you are no longer able to attend your appointment, or if you wish to change or cancel, please inform reception as soon as possible. You can cancel by replying “cancel” to your text message reminder, online, or by phone.
You can cancel your appointment online using the NHS APP www.nhs.uk/nhsapp
Home Visits
Patients whose illness prevents them from attending surgery may be visited at home.
Requests should be made before 12.00pm where possible. This will help the doctor prioritise their visits and avoid unnecessary delay.
It is always better to attend surgery wherever possible
